“Don’t need saving
Just a taste
Don’t need anything
I feel safe cause we don’t need saving
We never did
Someone fetch a stretcher for the disco damaged kid”
ATP presents Polly Scattergood’s first UK show for 2013. Mute artist Polly Scattergood will play the Shacklewell Arms, London on 31 January.
The new Scattergood live band is a duo, Polly Scattergood and collaborator Glenn Kerrigan.
Tickets can be purchased from: http://www.atpfestival.com/events/pollyscattergoodshacklewell.php
The first track to be revealed from her upcoming second studio album is ‘Disco Damaged Kid’. A shimmering, joyous number, ‘Disco Damaged Kid’ contrasts ethereal meditative moods with buoyant, yearning piano arpeggios that drive the song headlong.
