LIARS (Angus Andrew, Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross) NEW VIDEO for “Mess On A Mission” was co-produced by Urban Outfitters as part of their Video Series and directed by Luis Cervéro (of CANADA). Shot in the band’s hometown Los Angeles over the course of 12 hours, Luis’ captured the Liars’ movements from four different angles against a green screen filled as the band fights off everything from monsters to sacrificial tribal rituals. Tracking this unique partnership, Angus kept a video diary that documents why Luis’ video treatment “immediately stood out” explaining, “he was really fascinated by the idea, that nowadays, in filmmaking, you can no longer tell what’s real and what isn’t.” We’ll let you decide for yourself what is “fact” and what is “fiction”—be sure to keep an eye out for Julian’s parents in the meantime!
