LIARS have unveiled the video for ‘No Now Not Your Face’, the latest track to be taken from their first original soundtrack, 1/1, out on Mute on 20 July 2018.
1/1 is the soundtrack to Jeremy Phillips’ directorial debut, due to be released 17 July 2018. Starring Lindsey Shaw (Pretty Little Liars), Judd Nelson (Breakfast Club, St Elmo’s Fire) and Dendrie Taylor (Star Trek Generations, Twins), the film submerges the viewer into the mind of Lissa, a 20-year-old girl in rural Pennsylvania and her struggles with sex, drugs, love and loss.

The film premieres in LA on 28 June at a special screening and Q&A, which will include Angus Andrew alongside the director, Jeremy Phillips, as well as the actors Lindsey Shaw, Judd Nelson and Dendrie Taylor, and crew. Full details and tickets HERE.
With 1/1 Liars have created an electronic soundtrack that reflects the film’s use of mixed media abstractions and multi-film formats, giving an emotional response to characters within the film.
Created soon after Liars’ 2014 album Mess, these are the last recordings by Angus Andrew and Aaron Hemphill before Hemphill amicably left the band. In 2017 Angus Andrew released TFCF, Liars’ eighth studio album and Aaron Hemphill has just released Nonpareils’ Scented Pictures, his debut solo album – both albums are out on Mute, Andrew and Hemphill’s label since Liars’ debut, They Threw Us All In A Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top.
Liars’ 1/1 is released on Mute on 20 July. The film will open on 17 July, with a premiere screening in Los Angeles on 28 June.
The Blu-Ray release (out on 17 July) will feature an unreleased Liars track, ‘Drawls’, with edited outtake footage.
