Juno – “…transposes their abstractions from the living room to the dance floor, and in so doing opens up a new chapter for techno music.”
Resident Advisor “…precision-tooled and impeccably sculpted club tracks, powered by the duo’s characteristic strobing rhythms and flecked with absurdist humour.”
Dazed Digital “…heavy-hitting, wildly-crescendoing, full throttle…”
Diamond Version have announced a worldwide tour throughout September and October 2013, which opens with their debut UK performance on 19 September at the Village Underground (tickets available here)

Make.Believe is taken from from EP5, the final installment in a series of EPs that have unfolded across the year preceding the release of their album, and which, according to The Quietus have “cast their dancefloor intentions in sharp relief: their EP series… has found them tackling chrome-plated, precision tooled techno, electro and even booty bass, all given a twist of endearingly daft humour.”
The five EPs will be collated into one bundle, set for release on 2 September (3 September in the US) and offer a glimpse of what we can expect from their debut album release, due out in 2014. The album will feature a selection of the EP tracks alongside unreleased tracks and new versions with very special guest vocalists.
After a triumphant return to Sonar earlier this year (documented by The Creators Project here) and a series of dates with Depeche Mode, Diamond Version debut their audio-visual live performance at the Village Underground for the Alfa MiTo Club To Club night that previews the festival in Turin in November. Before the Club To Club festival, the band will be France, Netherlands, US, Mexico, Japan and Germany.
Diamond Version the collaborative project between two of the most groundbreaking, experimental and visionary creators in modern music, Byetone and Alva Noto.
