Love Will Come (Maps’ Brave New Version)

NEW VERSION INSPIRED BY THE TV ADAPTATION OF ALDOUS HUXLEY’S BRAVE NEW WORLD

MAPS has released a brand new version of ‘Love Will Come’, inspired by the track’s appearance in the soundtrack for the recent TV adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’.

Originally featured on Maps’ 2009 album Turning the Mind (alongside ‘Let Go Of The Fear’, which also features prominently in the soundtrack), ‘Love Will Come’ (Maps’ Brave New Version) is released digitally today.

James Chapman, aka Maps, explains, “The song’s inclusion on the soundtrack sparked some ideas that inspired me to revisit ‘Love Will Come’, and try to create a new version. The original track is already very uplifting and euphoric, but also has quite a strange and other-worldly feel to it. I wanted to explore these elements even more in my new version. Turn it up loud!”

Maps recently released a series of remixes, some of which were collated on Colours. Remixed. Time. Loss. which features remixes by Stephen Morris, TVAM, GLOK (aka Andy Bell from Ride), Russian Linesman, Barry Adamson, Polly Scattergood, C Duncan, Simon Fisher Turner, A Certain Ratio and more. The original tracks were taken from his latest album Colours. Reflect. Time. Loss. This album,his most ambitious to date, saw the Northampton-based Mercury Music-nominated artist working with Echo Collective and subsequent performances included a sold-out show at the Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room.
