Land Observations announce new live dates, following the release of the debut album, Roman Roads IV-XI.
Lands Observations aka James Brooks will perform at the Audioscope Festival, Oxford alongside Damo Suzuki, Warm Digits and more (www.audioscope.co.uk) and on 23 November at Time Zones Festival, Italy, in a day dedicated to the composer John Cage. The event will see artists playing in unusual venues across Bari, Land Observations will play at the ancient Ateneo University, close to the Institute of Archaeology, and again in an the evening where all artists involved will perform in a session conducted by Rhys Chatham (http://www.timezones.it).
In December, Land Observations will play at Le Guess Who festival in Utrecht on the 2nd on a bill alongside Ty Segall Band, full information at http://www.leguesswho.nl/
Roman Roads IV – XI is released on Mute on CD, vinyl and download, with packaging featuring original drawings by Brooks. The album was recorded at the Bridge and Tunnel Mobile, Berlin and engineered and mixed by Mark Bihler and James Brooks.
